…High Ropes at Ghajn Tuffiea
First of all the bus turned up an hour late, worked out well though – shorter time on a sweltering beach, then off to high ropes at the main Scout campsite of Ghajn Tuffiea.
Lots of Scouty types had all turned out to help out including the main man from Tarxien Scouts and the County Commissioner himself. I described him to the Scouts as equivalent to Bear Grylls, I think they understood.
The high ropes was a thoroughly decent 4 hour session on almost all parts of the frame. We ended in groups of four climbing a pole and leaning out hand in hand. A little deliberate mixing of groups under the disguise of size matching worked a treat for some amusing scenarios.
Arrived at the coach with seconds to spare.
