London 2009 Belfast

London 2009

 Day 3

The London Dungeon got more nerves going than anything else – the rumours were quite something. However, all that passed through the doors and out the other side did so with bravery (of sorts). “If you’re scared just stay close to me” – they did – very close. Come the end though all was forgotten and we moved onto HMS Belfast…

…Which proved even more scary than the London Dungeon. The Scouts managed to stay in their groups – it’s a shame the Leaders couldn’t keep up (!) resulting in a rather good telling off, for the leaders. Several more grumpy staff later some concluded it must be the weather and so off we toddled rather quickly over Tower Bridge to find McDonalds, which had oddly disappeared. So we ended up back where we started at Bank Station hassling the very nice people at their McDonalds instead.

We also passed a large castle looking thing, didn’t know it’s name but we did get clues from where we were – Tower Hill. Must be called ‘Tower Castle’? Ah, I know ‘London Tower’, no, maybe ‘London Tower on a Hill!?’

Give up now…
