“Not as messy as others years,” said one older Scout .
“Yeh, right”
“Oh no! I’ve brought my school bag by mistake!”
…whilst from the newer Scouts:
“I’ve never been so messy in all my life.”
“I didn’t bring a towel, I didn’t think it would be this bad.”
“Why aren’t you wearing shoes?”
“…because they’re really wet and horrible from the games.”
“So where are your spare shoes then?”
“I didn’t bring any.”
“What did we say at the beginning.”
“Yeh! But I thought…”
“Your loss! We did tell you!”
Time to listen and follow instructions then!! The annual gala of slop, followed by a mass after show cleaning party by the leaders.
