We had a superb time at a fun packed weekend.
…
…
We arrived Friday Night in the drizzling rain and put up tents, well Scouts put up tents as Leaders refused to help them (they were sleeping in them after all). Explored the site, joined in the live music with ‘BUSTiD’… Mmmm. At 00:11 Hours all Scouts were tucked up soundly in bed… so the Leaders logged onto the internet cafe and upgraded the 62nd Website, sadly no-one actually looked at it (only ourselves). Oh well!
Weather was dark (Dave the weatherman’s contribution). Ray bought some badges earlier in th evening (shop sold out). We also met our international travelling partners (i.e. Plymouth Explorers – Swisszerland 2004) and had a little drink with them.
Saturday Leaders put up Scouts tents properly (they have to learn somehow, they’ve been shown enough times!) The rest of the weekend went enjoyably, especially for leaders, as for the Scouts…
… no idea, we never saw them!
