Drievliet Theme Park and Report – Day 3
Day 3: Drievliet theme park. Have never felt so ill after going to a theme park – fast spinny rides seemed to be the park’s preferred choice! A combination of the spinny octopus of illness, and the speedy roller coaster of misfortune claimed its first victim (a scout may have been a bit sick!), and we even got Clive on some rides! We didn’t really see the scouts all day, so we’ve got pictures of leaders having fun instead!
Dinner was the Dutch delicacy of Stampot: potato, spinach, carrots, bacon, onions and smoked sausage all mashed together into a beautiful mush. Just a shame we didn’t realise the spinach would be quite so gritty, so it was Stampot with added spinach grit! Sadly only George came up for seconds. We also enjoyed the our first fully dry day – bring on the sun!
