3, yes 3 scouts joined quite a few leaders on a very enjoyable hike around the Gloucestershire countryside. Visiting Tyndale Monument in North Nibley, Stinchcoombe woods and golf course, and great views over the town of Dursley.
Highlight of the day was the big white dog that lumbered upto our bags during a water stop. Within a few seconds it had ram-raided Daisy’s bag and gobbled up Dave’s lunch, cling film included – much to the amusement of everyone else.
Mind you – does this mean it’s next pooh will be cling film wrapped!?
