…<\/span>Bugibba – Scuba Diving and Underwater Safari<\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0…<\/span>A day spent underwater. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00a0For most it was Scuba diving with Buddies Dive School in Bugibba and one of our old Scouts, who is now in her fourth season there. For seven others, who either could not, would not or\u00a0the law would simply not oblige them to\u00a0Scuba they went on an underwater safari with a local boat cruise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite Scuba being a lot of faff, with equipment and forms coming out of your ears the experience underwater was reportedly quite special. Fish, octopus, star fish and more was spotted on a full day at the beach near Bugibba.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00a0The underwater safari was a special boat, designed with windows in the hull which you could spend looking out at the sea life. Fish and jellyfish were spotted along with the Loch Ness monster on holiday, sunning himself in a deckchair complete with sombrero and cocktail in an underwater cave. Quite special we thought.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00a0The latter part of their day was spent on a lovely gritty beach with family Dando upto their full on mischieveous selves covering the Scout leader incessently with grit, at least the water was pleasantly warm for a wash off. <\/span>Leaving was amusing, we were sat and stood on some rocks waiting for everyone to be ready when an anxious looking local boy was hanging on nervously hopping from foot to foot. When he finally plucked up the courage to speak it was short, succinct, informative and said with relevant panic and bravery. A little hand waving also added to the drama.<\/span><\/p>\n

“No… rats…”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00a0It worked, you’ve never seen some tired worn out Brits move so fast… Much thanking later we moved far away…<\/span><\/p>\n
