Strictly-come-Synchro
An 8.00 am session in the pool signalled an early start and tasty brioche! The previous evening, groups of scouts had been given 45 minutes to come up with a synchronised swimming routine and select their song, all out of the water – not an easy task! Nonetheless come Sunday morning everyone was keen to show off their routines, and with only 5 minutes to practice in the water, Strictly-come-Synchro was underway!
We were super impressed by all the groups, and were even more surprised by how slick and synchronised they all were. Well done to everyone for getting stuck into it, and special well done to the rainbow dragons, led by Gabriella and Paloma, who stormed to victory with a well executed, splishy, splashy and most importantly synchronised routine that impressed the judges so much that they put down their cups of tea to clap with both hands! Quite an achievement at 9.00 in the morning…

Sports Hall
The biggest, echoeist sports hall in Nether Stowey was ours for the weekend. Nick spent almost the entire 48 hours skating round on it, and we trialled indoor pitch black wide games, which went down a treat!
