Following a 6:15 swimmy swimmy swim swim, we headed to Readymoney (something I wish I had) cove, where it is mandatory to comment on the fact that Dawn French used to own a large house there. After getting wetsuited and booted, we spent the day coasteering and paddleboarding on a giant SUP.
Coasteering wasn’t simply jumping off big rocks into the sea, it was more of a coastal exploration, where we swam, climbed and jumped our way around the coast, stopping off at beaches and to do some high jumps into the sea.
We ventured into the Fowey estuary on the giant SUPs, where we had a look at Polruan and Fowey, although most seemed more focused on making sure everyone around them was pushed into the water at all times, making it hard not to laugh, even if the instructors weren’t…
