Windsurfing
The windsurfing guy said, several times, it’s better to learn on the water. so consequently spends an eternity on land teaching lots of theory.
There were plenty of comments from Scouts though about how much was learnt. Plenty more than a cold, windy session on a Cornish lake last year. This was largely impressive as no one could really understand his system for who was meant to be where and doing what.
He spent a lot of time with Daisy though…
Special mention though has to go to those who persisted endlessly in order to just stand up. It was indeed great fun to watch; up, splash, up, splash, up, wobble, splash, up wobble, grab rope, splash, up, wobble, grab rope start to pull up sail, splash…
