Beaches
Having arrived in Croatia two days prior to the main group was a distinct advantage, knowing how far the sea was meant we managed to squeeze in a dip in the sea on the first main day we were there. This set the tone for the rest of the week, lots of dips in the sea at every opportune moment. Even when we had pencilled in a beach day, cunningly advertised as a hike(!) there was bags of enthusiasm.
Just be careful about hiring pedlos!
Underwater
One of the leaders had just purchased a new camera which claimed to survive underwater. With such a claim who else to test it out! After passing through several hands in various places and at various depths, it stood the course and came out gleaming with lots of lovely underwater photos.
