Caernarfon Castle
It’s where Prince Charles was invested as the Prince of Wales and where Prince William will also be, one day, I’m guessing.
It’s also where we invested four Scouts, on the same spot. A stunning location, as castles go it’s a very good one, even better on a sunny Welsh day. Many of us thoroughly enjoyed the twisty small dark corridors and stairs to lovely views across the bay, others decided not and just sat and grumbled. It’s as if all those efforts to build a whopping great big important (but not as important as Berkeley, or Pembroke…) castle were all in vain.
The day was topped off with a sunny trip to the beach.
Ben decided this looked like another Scout – I totaly agree – guess who though…
