Delftse Hout
Day 6: Duvet Day! A much needed rest day today, with a greatly appreciated lie-in, a leisurely brunch at nearly midday, followed by mid afternoon lunch!
We finally made it to Delftse Hout Lake for a chill by the water and a refreshing swim. Bellies flopped, scouts splished and splashed, and Harry did a dance on a pontoon – all in all a lovely way to finish off our relax day!
However not all was so relaxed. The Kubb competition was ramped up a notch for the Semi-finals, with strong performances from all teams, as well as a stroke of pure luck for the leader’s team who won by the skin of their teeth! Participants have all been absorbed into our new favourite game – the final is sure to end in tears – losing will be more painful than stepping on Lego!

Ought to hit the hay soon, as we’re up nice and early for a jam packed day in Amsterdam!
