Halloween 2015
…I have to admit, whilst a few costumes were quite simply stunning, or bizarrely pretty, the rest were, let’s face it, pathetic. Lessons were also learnt – the bug bear of leaders: Scouts turning up unprepared, usually due to their own fault and not the parents, I hasten to add, was all too clear.
This aside however, the evening was fabulous with Dr Nick whipping his machine of mess into overdrive. I could not quite understand how the Scouts mananged to build their own gunge tanks quite so well, surely a more haphazard model would have saved them somewhat!
Anyway, thank you and well done to all the Scouts who came saw and conquered – you did keep the mess to the mat (just) and it only took an hour the next day to clear up!
…followed by a hearty Gloucester Road lunch…
