St George's Day Group Celebration @ The Observatory on Durdham Downs
To all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Concorde Explorers and their parents

Sunday 28th of April
09:15 to 10:30
Observatory on Durdam Downs
St George’s Day

Please do your best to attend.
Baden Powell chose St George as the patron saint of Scouting, so it’s on this day that Scouts across the country choose to renew their promise. 62nd Bristol have decided to do it somewhere a little more memorable this year- on the downs by the Observatory with the Clifton Suspension Bridge in the background.
It will be a short ceremony/promise renewal with a group photo after. Smart uniform is a must and parents are welcome to stay.
Pick up 10:30 from playpark area just down the hill from the Observatory.

After 10:30 the leaders, weather permitting, are planning to walk over the Suspension Bridge to Ashton Court for tea and ice cream, so if anyone would like to join us, you’re welcome to do so – it also stands as a quick opportunity to speak to the leaders, find out a bit more about us and what the other sections are up to.
Thank you and we hope people will do their best to join us.
62nd Group
